yea see thats what im thinking.. on xbox.com they say there is 2 warranties 1 is the manufacturer 1 year warranty and the other is the extended 3 year warranty on the red ring of death that took effect july 5 2007. so since my 1 year ended a month ago im thinking of trying to get the red ring of death. so do i just keep turning it on and off and eventually i will get it??

Im not sure if you can make it happen, but i CAN guarantee that sooner or later it will happen. Its worth a try over the next couple days, turn it on and off, leave it on for long periods of time, you might get lucky. Maybe you can just say you have the red rings, then youll get the box to ship it in at least.?.?.?.?

yea it will probably happen when i dont want the red ring of death haha.. ill try for a week cuz ill have my ps3 by then and if i dont get the ring i just send it in for repairs and play the ps3 while i wait hehe
