ok so i was going to order just a set of Tein S-Tech Springs today but last night my buddy showed me this coilover set up he just bought which was the D2 Coilovers - RS 36-Way Adjustable Coilover, and they are awesome, so he looked at the prices for me and i could get them for $865.56 shipped, great deal.....then he found the Tanabe Racing Development Coilovers - Sustec Pro S-0C which isn't as ajustable as the D2's but are only 705.00 shipped, do you guys think it would be worth the extra 160.56 for the D2's or just go with the Tanabe's??????

Lol ha ha ha everyones gonna GC/koni but I'd prob get the D2 my lil bro had them a couple months ago b4 he sold his car and they road pretty nice. I don't know any1 with the other set ups so I can't really compare

I've heard many good things about D2 setups. It seems that the top 3 setups are:

1) Koni/GC
2) Pic Performance
3) D2

That's just from what I've researched and read online, I don't have any hard factual evidence that these 3 setups are indeed the shizzo...but, I'd say with 99% faith that you probably won't be disappointed with any of them. I've never heard anyone mention Tanabe's products in any other category than exhausts, but I personally don't buy products from any company that "specializes" in too many things.

2. Many choices in spring rates.
3. Height adjustable.

The overall combo......
1. Tried and true forever.
2. Almost every race car driver obviously uses them for a reason.
3. This isn't just a bandwagon thing.
4. Beat on 'em as much as you want. They'll take it.
5. Overall, this setup is cheaper price wise and BY FAR better than either of the two you listed.

.....strictly a matter of opinion. (unbiased.....I don't even roll w/ 'em) but I'm sure over 90% of the Honda drivers in the country will agree w/ me.

gc/koni are tried and true!!! if you wanna be rebellious and get something else, PIC makes some GREAT coilovers, but a bit more then gc/koni. also i liked my buddies buddy club race spec i think? somewhat harsh ride, but if you set it to the softest setting its not too bad.
