Well last night i hit up the track last night..as i usually do on friday nights.

the first time i ever went to the track wit my bone stock B16 i ran a 15.6 on 17's with bald tires.

I got some steelies and bought 4 brand new tires all the way around and was running 15.4

Well last night i as running pretty good...mostly 15.2 and 15.3.

At my last run of the night i decided to launch higher in rpm..i sually launch around the 3000 mark or soo, and i felt it would kinda lag pretty bad..soo i went around 5200 near vtec and launched and ended up running a 15.0!!

15.0 bone stock b16 except a short ram intake..im pretty happy lol

if i would have had a .6 or .7 reaction time..easily would of been in the 14's

i ran another civic at the time and he ran a 17.8 lol..thats why the finish margin is soo big..by 2 seconds..lol


Honda tony was out at the track last night, running his all motor street legal k20 Frankenstein hatch..it ran a 10.9 all motor...this thing is ridiculous

There was a nother white ej1 there that was ls/vtec tuned and built by honda tony..Was estimated and dynoed at 680hp...ran 10.2..it was insane

Thats a sick time. Aren't 99-00 Si's supposed to run mid-high 15's?

yea i thought 15.5 was about the average for the si...

thats why when i ran 15.0..i was very excited..lol

I know the jdm b16 has 10 more hp than the usdm si...soo idk

Good job. Makes me want to to give my little D16 a drag run for the very first time.

Do you have a video camera? If you do maybe get some footage next time.

man thats awesome. good times. the jdm b16's have a little more power, plus our ej8's are a wee bit lighter then em1's as well arent they?

man i never knew there was that much difference..

is it because the em1 is rated with the b16 in it, while the ej8 has the d16 in it??..could that be the pound difference?
