Good job. Makes me want to to give my little D16 a drag run for the very first time.

Do you have a video camera? If you do maybe get some footage next time.

you havent dragged it yet? i highly recommend it Smile my old ej8 had less in it than yours does... i pulled consistent mid 15s with 88-89mph traps.

Do it man!!! You have to at least once. It's a freakin' blast every time for me...but I guess that's cause I love any type of racing regardless. I strongly feel that once you do it one night, you'll never look back. You'll only progress from there.....maybe make your car better for drags, maybe for autox. Racing is fun any way you look at it.
......too bad now you have to wait 'til next spring. (or you could just drive down to FL and join alot of your fellow ej8ers one time) WootbigthumbupLol

With what you have done, your car will pull low to mid 15s all day....maybe faster w/ the right driver.

I went 14.9 w/ a Crower stage 2 cam and valve train, Tien S-techs and Tokico HPs, AEM shorty and straight exhaust all the way back from header to Magnaflow 5x8 oval, drag radials, an Lcon traction bar and gutted interior from the front seats back.

I never knew you were running a stage 2 Crower before your swap. Did you ever get in dynoed?

Yes, we in the North will have to wait until next Spring to have any type of car fun. Dang, you sure rub it in when you get a chance don't you? Toungue

Is Rock Falls the only drag strip we have up here?

I was for a little while. I loved that cam!!! Never dynoed back then.

I sure as hell try to rub it in. Lol Whenever I get a chance. bigthumbup Just playin' man!

Rock Falls Raceway, Brainerd Internation Raceway and one more in Iowa that I can't think of the name of right now for some reason.

It just sucks cause the closest one (Rock Falls) is like 1.5-2hrs away depending on where you live in or around the cities. 38+ dollars nowadays to run a sucky 4 or 5 runs if you're lucky (on one of their slower days) on a crap track isn't really worth it either. They barely open it up for everyone (including our sport compacts) but about once a month. This rare chance to race causes everybody and their freakin' mom to come out because it's open so rarely.....and then unless you're there early as hell, you never really get to run much (anywhere between 3 and 7 runs)

However, being w/ the guys, talking about racing, learning ALOT about performance and racing (if you're outgoing & talk to people) racing legally and having actual time slips to proove your performance is awesome.
