man thats awesome. good times. the jdm b16's have a little more power, plus our ej8's are a wee bit lighter then em1's as well arent they?
EM1 2,612 lbs
EJ8 2,319 lbs
EJ8 is closer to 2500. I weighed both of mine, but I forget the exact numbers. EJ8 was 25xx and EM1 was 26xx - both bone stock, both year 2000 model.
What tires? And what sort of elevation/weather conditions?

um they are the Fuzion HRI on steelies..
and as far as elevation and weather, i live in Missouri soo.. it was actually a beautiful night last night..no humidity or anything..absolutely gorgeous

I think you, me, all the squadron1 & JDMDreams guys need to hit the track when you're here. I'm just about ready to get back out racing. I've been a spectator for like the last 3 months.

Sounds like you had fun.....I have never gone the the drag strip in a car, I think it would be fun. When I get something worth running, maybe I will do that

There are 18sec cars running right next to 10sec cars. You'll see full size diesel pickups running right next to rx-7s. Hell.....I've even seen a 14 sec. scooter beat a Civic....what a shame.
In short...Bring it. Do it for fun just like everyone else. It's a blast. See what you can do. You'll never regret it. Nobody's gonna look at you any different. Every car's worth running.....at least once. LoL.

Good job. Makes me want to to give my little D16 a drag run for the very first time.
Do you have a video camera? If you do maybe get some footage next time.
you havent dragged it yet? i highly recommend it  my old ej8 had less in it than yours does... i pulled consistent mid 15s with 88-89mph traps.
