RE: Turbo D

Read up on how a turbo works
Set your horse power goal and set your budget
Don't forget tunning in your budget.
I wouldn't go past 225 whp on the stock internals.
Meaning forged rods and forged pistons.

RE: Turbo D

Whatever kit you go with just remember to DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST. Boost is a great thing when done right but, it can also be the death of an engine if not done right. Plus you'll be kicking yourself if you are constantly upgrading due to lack of planning. Trust meBanghead

Oh and be sure this is what you want 'cause boost is not an option but, an addiction...lol

NA is fine but, i'd rather be blown!

RE: Turbo D

Yea. Im kind of wondering what a good budget is. I wanna do something simple and small, cuz the cars my dd. but i wanna have fun in it too. Right now im thinkin of a 2 grand budget. Is this reasonable at all? Cuz ive been talking to a guy at autoworks, the kit was 2 plus that doesnt have an ecu or injectors. plus i know i gotta get a high flow cat and a 3 inch exhaust. And then get tuned! it just keeps addin up!eyepop
