Oshkosh is in WI. There is a big air show in IA every year too. But, to answer your question, no I don't go the air show.

It'd be just over 21 hours according to Google if you come up through SuFu. Not sure what you were figuring (out of the 3 suggested routes) on taking. 18 hours looked like it was the quickest of the ones on your link.

They've got you detouring just north of me - taking 35-335-70-35 again...which
seems really dumb to me but whatever. If you detour 35-50-35 you're more than
welcome to come hang out with me, my girlfriend's out of town next weekend too
so I need some entertainment. Plus, I live right off the highway so I could get ya
back on track right quick

Dave, you're basically halfway from TX to MN. From my starting point in Texas your about 12 hours away. I was planning on stopping and staying somewhere in Kansas City around 8pm.
