Nah, I was seeing if there were any older toyota trucks on autotrader. this one popped up and i had to do a double take on the price. I would offer 5k MAXX or 4300 w/o wheels.

this guy wants 8900 for it which he must be smokin crack.

I can post up a 67 mustang for sale in great shape for 8600.

All you new kids... SMH .... You take something that preserved in its original form and want to rip it apart for some BS swap.

I could understand if it was a beater, but all the numbers match with 86k miles. Why would someone want to F that up?

No new kid here, but I'll gladly give my 2 cents.

This is a little BS truck. It will never be worth any substantial amount of money, it isnt a truck that people flock to collect or dump tens of thousands to restore. You act like it is a cherry 69 Camaro, and it is not. If it were an actual car or truck that would ever be worth some real money, then yes, I'd keep it all original. However, this truck just looks like a nice canvas to start a fun build on.

If it was a numbers matching muscle car or collector car, that's one thing. This is a Toyota pickup. Not exactly a sought after vehicle. Yeah, it's cool to have all original. But that doesn't always make it worth more money. Somewhat comparable is a DA. A 92 DA that's all original isn't worth as much to most as one that's been swapped/turbo'd/ whatever. Now, a 92 GSR all original is a collector car and if one isn't all original it affects the value. That's kinda how I look at it.
