My Civic Scraping Too Low?
#31
Oh I feel ya dude haha. I angled it and I thought I was good since I didn't hear the lip at all. Then I heard the exhaust and I froze (Which is why I stopped, I hesitated.) Not my driveway and thank god it isn't. It's an entrance to a farmers market. Def. going a lot lower though. When I get the money for new tie rods and camber kits I'm going legit. I'm gonna max out the coils and the camber kit and I'm gonna be kissing the pavement. Going for the lowest EJ8 in Orlando, FL.

Haha yeah after christmas hopefully. I'm getting a new exhaust too and the scraping worries me a bit. I don't want a new exhaust all scraped till after 4 months. I'm on the look for wider wheels. I had some steelies in the back sitting and I wanted to make em wider. I think it's called rebarelling or something like that. I wanna go 15x9 with -18 camber. Soon hopefully.

15x9 with a -18 offset?_? That's crazy! Ur gonna have to run hella camber to pull that off. Now a 15x9 +18 or a +15 would be a safer bet, but going negative in the offset category is for show/garaged/hard parked cars wanting that broken look. I had 16x9 +15 in the rear last year with jus -2 degrees of camber and pulled it off. Right now i'm on 15x8.5 +17 all around w/ 195/45 tires. Try these sites out to help u pick out ur next setup. These are what i always use when changing out my setups.

Research is the key to getting the fitment to sit right and a little trial and error.

No dude -18 CAMBER. Offset is gonna be negative for sure I know that much. My friend has 15x10 with -17 so I think I can pull it off. I wanna put smart car tires and stretch em but I dont think it'll work. He trimmed his camber kits too. I'm gonna follow in his footsteps for now then go even further later on. Idk whether I wanna tuck the back or have the fender sitting on the wheel.

So ur going for the broken look and not something u can drive around daily. Okay i see now, i personally wouldn't do it on mine but then again i DD my car so this wouldn't even be a option. Plus, that's jus too much for my taste.
