Prayer Request - Health Problems
#11
I may not know you well yet, but I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts. I hope everything turns around for you. My little tip... stay happy, no matter how hard it may seem.

First things first - I heard back from the doctor yesterday and, as we hoped, the second xray came back clear. No lung cancer for me! Feeling very relieved and happy Smile

Secondly, I absolutely detest dealing w/ MD's offices. They told me Wednesday that I would have results Friday. I called early in the afternoon Friday and, of course, had to leave a message for the nurse. I didn't hear anything back so I called again and left another message. About 4 o'clock I called a 3rd time and spoke w/ someone at the front desk. I explained the situation and that I really wanted to talk to someone today. She transfers me to voicemail again. I call back once more and tell the front desk that I want to talk to an actual person - the chick's response is "if there was an emergency they would have called you." B!tch, the point is that I was told I would have results today. You guys called me in here telling me there might be a mass in my lung and now you want me to just stay calm and wait for a call only if there's an emergency? No, I want to know what's going on either way and I want to know today so that I don't spend all weekend waiting and thinking about it.

Finally, the nurse calls right before they close at 5. She tells me the xray is clear, I thank her (and God) and then she says "ok bye" and hangs up before I can ask any other questions. Now, I know that my second message was not very nice but I kept myself from cursing at you...all I did was indicate my displeasure and that I expected a call from someone before the end of business. What if I had other questions about the results? Whatever, I don't have lung cancer and that's a good start! Now I just need to get through this colonoscopy w/o issue and come up w/ a way to pay off these medical bills and taxes. Still a good day Smile

glad to hear it dave. I really dont trust the medical profession. Insurance is a scam. its all a business and they need new customers.

hospitals need new customers to pay them
Insurance companies dont want to pay the hospitals, but they want new customers to pay them.

all a racket i tell ya!

Sometimes i think the universal healthcare is the answer. Worked in europe for decades!

U r blessed. Even dealing with all these obstacles as long as ur alive you have the opportunity to look to god and make the best of the situation. And when you are fully healed, dont forget how he helped you thru this difficult time. Be grateful in prayer and you will continue to be blessed.

Well, no cancer or signs of Crohns which is great news! The diverticulitis is still an issue and I'm back on antibiotics and a bland diet for the next couple weeks to help clear that up. Feeling very blessed right now Smile

Just gotta pay all these medical bills and get back on top of things again!

My pops had diverticulitis. Got some guts cut out and he's good as new now. This was a couple years ago. I asked him about it a few days ago and he said his stomach hasn't bothered him really since. Good luck.Sending positive energy to you and your loved ones.
