#1
So as some of you know I've taken up a film photography class and since we need to build a portfolio by the end of the semester I figured I'd post them here for you guys to see.

Very cool! The gearhead's in me gotta ask, what camera, lens, and film do you use? Last time I did any serious film work, I used Tmax 400. I have WAY too many film cameras sitting around, it's so easy to stop by a garage sale, and someone has their father's or grandfather's Mamiya, Pentax, Yashica, etc. with a decent prime lens or 3 going for nearly nothing.

Edit: Nevermind, clicked through to your Flickr and see all the relevant info. By the way, do you have your own scanner at home? I got myself a Canoscan 9000f because it was on sale, but seeing as how it and the Epson V500 are such high quality scanners available for so cheap, if they are large enough beds for you, you should consider them. The next step up is the larger V700, but you pay exponentially for the increased capability. That's cool that you got a Maxxum as your film camera, must be nice to be able to share lenses between your film and digital cameras.

I use the office scanner at work. I'm not too serious with the film I just wanted to learn to process and not be one of those guys who has to rely on digital editing. The reason for the Maxxum was the interchangeability of the lenses. To be honest I never use the autofocus on the Minolta and only use it on my DSLR for quick snaps. I'm trying to get a 70-210 f4 lens next.
