So me and the fam are now living in Colorado Springs, CO. This weekend we decide to drive to the summit of Pikes Peak. The Elevation is 14,114' (4,302 m) at the summit. Pikes Peak is the 7th highest mountain in Colorado and the 2nd most visited mountain in the world, Mt Fuji in Japan is 1st. The air is killer thin but the view is breathtaking. The drive up is nerve racking and scary to say the least.

We started at the Garden of the Gods and started our journey.

Our goal... To reach that snow.

Thanks Jeremy.

So the other day for PT we climbed Manitou Incline. An incline of stairs that went to the summit in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The incline is .88 miles long. The elevation starts at 6,500 ft. and goes up to 8,590 ft. The Incline is famous for its sweeping views and steep grade, as steep as 68% in places. At about 2/3 of the way up is a bailout path to Barr Trail which it took due to my back problems acting up. The incline is great for you fitness gurus.

We started at 5 a.m. so I was able to get a great pic of Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs out in the distance.

A look at the incline from the base... And if your thinking that your looking at the top your not, that's the fake summit.
