It is a great find, I feel lucky. A few random bits coming in the mail, and hopefully in about a week or two I'll have a revised/cleaned up engine bay to share with you all.

I witnessed the prodrive+v1 combo today as I was leaving work on a black STI, it looks sick. I'd go for it over the Cusco.

although it looks like you'd be able to get a similar effect with the prodrive+home depot lip?

How much did you pick up the bugeye for?
Looks like a good project.

Subie will be my next car, 04-05 Aspen white STi a few years from now.
Fun rides.

I picked it up for $6,000 bucks! Pretty unbelievable. But then again, it did look like *poopy* when I first got it. The only good thing about it was the engine.

I seriously worked on the car almost everyday for three weeks before I posted anything online.

If you've got a bugeye.. buy some 04+ headlights, front quarterpanels, front bumper, and hood - and you've got yourself a peanut Smile Same chassis and everything. Similar to the 96-98 to 99-00 conversion.

DANG! $6K?! Score man! although like you said..it's condition
Have any before pics of it?

Haha peanut, well if i don't get lucky with an 04-05 STi
i'd settle for a bugeye theyre just as dope.
I just want that STi 2.5, i could settle for a hawkeye WRX cause those run on a 2.5 but not a big fan of it's design.

I remember my bud scoring on a blue STi for 15k, and i fell in love with it
when i asked if i can test drive it around the block. That thing is amazing.

You know the amazing thing - it costs less to buy a USDM STi engine than a K series.

Cusco break-vent inlets matched with the Subaru racing spec V1 lip

WITH

Bro, I don't know why, but I always loved how the break vent inlets look
on Subies. I've seen one with Kevlar ones and they look sick over fog covers.
DO IT! haha.

You gonna go wingless trunk, stick with the WRX wing or STi wing?
You got a perfect idea of a clean Subie, keep us updated on what you do with the bugeye.

When I first got the car, I tried to go wingless, but when I took off the wing risers, I found that the former owner drilled an extra hole under the stock wing area for the riser support. Now I can't go wingless unless I fill the holes and paint it up.
