I've had my ej for about a year now. I am just now really getting around to doing things with it, have been on the forum for about the same amount of time. It is good that I am reading this now, because I just got my car painted, and was thinking of getting form and function springs and a set of spuns before getting security or doing it at the same time. This thread is wonderful and I could really start right now as I got most of my work done recently. My dad also loves organization and smart planning so this is going to make him giddy and I'm gonna convince him to do this for his new z28.

People around here are REALLY REALLY BAD about stealing hondas. Like 7 people just got caught doing it in the tri-county area, and the main guys didn't even get caught. I was actually at a party with one of em last night. Dodgy

Killer write up! When i was deployed i kinda had no choice but to use a planning scheme to build my car. My imagination was all over the place. So i used an excel worksheet. My tabs are how i have everything organized. And as time went on i'd purchased it and have it sent to my house waiting for me to return from my deployment. My wife would send me pictures so i could verify i received the right parts. Now that i'm home i'm doing the same thing for my turbo project. But it is harder to be patient when u have access to ur car on an everyday basis. Being deployed and having to wait helps out with this discipline. But yes the planning process is a must have to build a successful car.

Extremely well-thought out and put together write up.
I'm going to finish hooking up the alarm on my car before doing anything else.

And1 You deserve it.

Hahaha, funny you should mention that. I went a step above the writeup and actually photoshopped all of the visible parts I wanted on the car. It actually looked pretty decent, and was the look I was going to go for...but it got too aggressive looking for me after a while. I'm happy I never went down that path, because the look I had in mind ended up being a very popular one eventually.
