RE: DIY: Short Ram Intake For $40
If anything the sensors mite read more air. But I highly doubt they would be damaged. I took my check engine light out because of my transmission problems. But if you run into any issues. Post em up. Curious to see if that's true or not.

will i throw CELs if i dont take the sensor out? ![]() It isn't entirely about exceeding boundries; Rather than working within them. |

You shouldn't have to mess with any sensors. They remain untouched. Hence you really shouldn't throw any CEL's.

RE: DIY: Short Ram Intake For $40
i got a 2 piece intake from ebay for $45, its 2.5" tho but it makes the sound i want. but wat your doing with your intake is pretty clever. the extra things that plug in the intake doesnt hang around like mine... anyways, nice DIY.

RE: DIY: Short Ram Intake For $40
just to mention you dont need the metal sleeve thing.take the rubber conector of the cone filter with a flat head screwdriver.then take the spring of the oem intake tube and push the filter on to the groove were the spring was.worked for me.simples and a bit cheaper.
