SWEET EXHAUST SET-UP?

So I'm about to order a DC Sport 4-1 one piece header, high flow cat, and a DC Sport cat-back exhaust...I've never heard a dc sport exhaust on a civic ex? I wanted someone's opinion or advice? I dont care if it's loud...just as long as its not raspy...thanks!

RE: SWEET EXHAUST SET-UP?

My car had a DC sports header back (4-2-1) exhaust before the turbo, i still have the cat-back. Now my wife's EX has the header back. Sounds nice and deep...love it. Not tinny at all.

NA is fine but, i'd rather be blown!

Yeah i have read about this before, basically the fact that the 4-1 header is mostly designed for high end power(horsepower) and the 4-2-1 is more for low end power(torque).
When compared to each other the benefits of the 4-2-1 outdid the power of the 4-1

NA is fine but, i'd rather be blown!

RE: SWEET EXHAUST SET-UP?

well iono about that dc header losing power...i have a DC 4-1 on greddy evo2 full cat back and (just added an hour ago) injen short ram and you can definitely feel the difference...not to mention the DC/Greddy/Injen set up is very beefy..i love the sound of my ride now

RE: SWEET EXHAUST SET-UP?

The DC exhaust is decent. Based on what you're lookin' for, you could probably deal with it.

RE: SWEET EXHAUST SET-UP?

i would scrap the whole idea untill you reasearch all the parts your thinking of getting individually based on what resaullts you will expect from them. like somone said before, the dc header in my opinion is a waste of money beacause many setups it will cause a loss in power..and that fact alone would personaly stear me away from ever spending a cent on a DC sport product...i mean what is that sayin about there R&D ??....i run a JDM ITR 4-1,high flow carsound cat to a modified ITR catback..just had to extend the tip about 8 inches...works mint for me cause i wanna rip it without extra attention
