Spoon Sports N1 Muffler

(Click the image for the full review)
Manufacturer: Spoon Sports - http://spoonsports.us
Product: EK9 Tail Silencer N1
MSRP: $452
Quick Rating: 5 out of 5 (Highly recommended)
“The Spoon N1 muffler was developed and used on Spoon’s race vehicles and is the ideal muffler for the street and circuit enthusiast. The N1 muffler is one of the lightest available, weighing only 7.9lbs. The tip is 65mm, same size as stock, providing a subtle appearance.”

A few notes:
- I'm not sure how well it would sound on a D-series, but this is without a doubt, the best sounding exhaust note I've ever heard from ANY B/K-series.
- Therefore, swap a B into your EJ8 so you can use this to the full potential
- Let me know if there's any other kind of information you'd like to see from this kind of review. It's hard to find a good balance between just stating the facts, but covering everything that's relevant to someone looking for an exhaust. I hate writing novels for things like this, since I know most people won't read the whole thing. I think that even if you just skim the article though, between the pictures and a few key words, you still get the idea.

My buddy has it on his 99 dx...sounded good with the stock d16y7. I've yet to hear it with his new gsr swap.

one of my favorite exhausts of all time, i would rock one if i was going N/A.

This exhaust is for sale now by the way.. very rare for coupes. Almost all of them on the market are for DC/EP. I'm not shipping it again, so buyer must be moderately close

I'm contemplating both the Spoon (Street Type and N1 Type) exhaust right now but I'm still a little uncertain about fitment issues since both of them from Spoon Sports USA are produced for the EK9 and not for our EJ8 coupes.
I guess my question is did you have to make major modifications to make it clear the rear bumper and did you also have the B-Pipe as well?
