rear lca's self threading or are there nuts?

I was just at the dealership to pick up new LCA bolts to prep for the installation of my Skunk2 LCA's and I ask if there are any nuts for the other side of the LCA for the bolts to thread into. The diagram he printed out didn't show any and he said there weren't any in the computer. But when I look under the car on the stock LCA's, it looks like there are separate nuts. And the Skunk2 LCA's didn't come with anything besides the LCA and the poly bushings.

So what are the bolts supposed to thread into if the parts dept at the Honda dealership says there aren't any nuts I can buy? WTF I drive a 99 civic ex coupe

There's a "nut" on the shock that the LCA bolts to. Which bolt are you talking about?

The bolt I'm talking about is #17 in the pic.

I got my answer on another forum. Thanks though. Figured out each part where each bolt runs through has a nut welded to it on the other side. But yeah I'm talking about bolt #17 (which is the same anyways for the subframe and trailing arm).

I don't think you read the thread Lol.

I found out there are nuts welded to the other side of where each bolt goes through on the LCA. I was worried for a while that there would be nothing on the other side once I converted to aftermarket LCA's.

amej8......glad you got it figured out.

6 OEM bolts (3 for each side) is all you need if you want to replace 'em all. DO NOT forget to cover those bolts in anti seize so you decrease you chances of seized bolts in the future. Also....hand tighten all the bolts so everything is together in the air. However, don't properly torque the bolts until the car is rested on the ground in it's normal riding position. This allows the bushings to "be where they should be" once tightened.
