Re-painted sideskirts w/ rattlecan

Side skirts had faded to grey from the factory black, so I got some Krylon gloss black, detached 'em, sprayed a few layers, and snapped back on. It's MUCH too late at night for pics, 4:45 AM, they wouldn't show up whatsoever. :-)

But I THINK it looks good. I'll see how I like it in the morning.

S'ok, it's afternoon now. Snapped two before I go to the burrito factory.

Grab some Dupli-color trim spray paint.

RE: Re-painted sideskirts w/ rattlecan

I used Walmart "Krylon" spray paint. Did dollar store flat black before, just as experiment, so trying a step up now ($2.97 instead of $1.00)...

I truly don't expect this to last, even though I ran some 320 grit over them, for even two months.

As far as red, I'd like it to match my Milano red rather than be some off red, so I held off. :-)

Looks decent. I was wondering what the shiny gloss black was going to look like. Looks good in the picture.

If I were to ever redo mine black, I'd do the Dupli-color trim paint Jeremy was talking about. It gives everything that completely refreshed stock look w/o being too flat or too glossy. Plus I'm sure they claim it's better for side skirts and more durable than standard paints.
