RE: Radar Detectors!!!
i wouldnt mind to know when cops are around, im with most of you..i dont speed more than 10 over the limit, i havnt been in ttrouble with that.
dose this V1 detector, or other detectors for that matter, tell you if a cop is just driving near you, or is it just if they have they're radar gun out?

RE: Radar Detectors!!!
The detectors only detect the radar, and only when its on. Some can also detect the VG2 Radar Detector Detectors, when mine picks up the VG2 signal, it shuts itself off.

RE: Radar Detectors!!!
I dont plan on speeding excessively, but once in a while I'll be a little late and need to make up 1 or 2 mins driving, lol... i usually dont go more than 15 mph over the limit though even when rushing... cruising I usually stay below 10 mph over the limit... I doubt i'll start driving faster by having a radar, i'll just not have to be on full alert all the time and will be able to pay more attention to the road instead of looking for certain headlights or cars parked on the side of the freeway... hahaha, and I'm pretty sure they're legal here in CA.

lmao, that would be funny as crap.
The use of a radar detector in a passenger vehicle is legal in all states with the exception of Virginia, Washington DC. and on military bases.
Radar detectors are illegal in all commercial vehicles weighing over 10,000 pounds
In Canada, the only three provinces that allow their use are Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Many overseas countries also ban their use, such as Portugal, Finland and Spain.
In areas that radar detectors are illegal, law enforcement use a device called the Spectre that is able to detect the use of radar detector in your car or truck. For more information on the Spectre, click here.
Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.
