who has em' and basically..are they worth even bothering with, i've heard both sides of things, much like any mod in the aftermarket, but what is your experience?

RE: Pulley Kits

you prolly won't feel a huge difference from underdrive pulleys unless you boost it

RE: Pulley Kits

As with most mods... you'll sacrifice something in order to get something.

Pulleys are good if you want them. Get it??? It's up to you and if you want to spend the money. Honestly, you're not going to feel any noticeable difference w/ the butt dyno...the real dyno on an NA vehicle might show a horse or two difference.

The downside to pulleys is that they don't spin as fast as the originals. That means that....
1.your alternator will not charge as good
2.your power steering will be affected a little....that is if you're running it.
3.DO NOT get a crank pulley!!! Hondas need either an oem unit or something like a Fluidamper or ATI unit. Otherwise....say bye bye to your bearings and motor soon enough.

Now all this stuff is affected very minimal so you don't have to worry about it too much. Now.....it's just a matter if you want to spend 100 or so for 1 or 2 hp. They do look WAY better than the originals though!!!

RE: Pulley Kits

I'd pass, they're not worth the hassle especially if you have a beefy stereo system with big woofers.

RE: Pulley Kits

honestly i dont think it is worth the money or hassel to have these things..you gain what??? 3 horsepower??..if you really are technical about weight on your car..then yea..you might wanna get them to lighten things up a bit..but for the most part..i definatly think they are not worth it..

Unless you have money and have run out of things to throw on your motor...lol..then yea get em
