I dont see a problem with the ad. Esp if the shop belongs to a fellow EJ8squader. And plus, just because we have an ad doesn't mean we all have to click on it. My vote is to GO FOR IT!!! and hopefully i'll have more time off of work to hang out on forum, lol.

been meaning to type a response since the thread went up. personally, i think its a good idea to get some advertising going on especially if the shop is of an ej8squad member.

that would help with getting some merchandise going on and whatnot.

the only thing i dont want to see happen is an overflow of new members joining JUST to get these "discounts" from that shop and not contributing to the site. i cant count the amount of times i see new members on honda-tech join just to get a part at a discounted price off a sponsor.

if i can get another ej8squad hoodie off this, why not?

Well, if that's the case then I would have to shortly there after make it a point to make sure the discount only goes to active members on EJ8Squad WITH EJ8's not just some random schmoe that signs up with another car. I'm also kicking around other ideas to make sure that only EJ8Squad.com members get the discount (again said members must be active and current with their posts.)
