check the battery that happened to me before and it was the battery...cuz u said it cranks up right? it just doesn't start...plugs? distributor?

well i checked one plug so far and it appeared to spark fine and assumed the others did too, but i'll know for sure today. About it being expensive, i'ld hope it not be but as of right now i dont care about price i just wish i knew what the hell it was. Driving my gfs 07 si till mine is back up which is nice and all but gas just went to 3.85 for premium and it sure likes to drink it. I'm trying every idea that comes my way, seeing how i'm not much of a mechanic by any means this could get nasty, if i cant figure it out i think i'm gona do a late night push to the honda dealership so i dont have to get it towed, thanx for the help so far guys

I assume there is no CEL since you didn't say there was.

Can recall any small problems before this happened? Any other maintenance or mods done prior to this?

nope no cel, no problems at all, other than the radiator cracking 3 months ago its been running fine, its literally like the car said #%$@ YOU i quit, i mean i changed my oil and rotated the tires the day before it stopped working, but it started up fine when i backed it off the ramps

Check the small things first if you haven't already. Plug wire on good on both the dizzy and plug side. Can you swap in a known good battery?

Check your fuses, you can rent noide lights from autozone to check your injectors.

took that battery to advance auto parts to have it checked and even though it looked dingy they said it had no problems, guess this weekend is gona be a fun one.....

tried some fresh plugs and nothing, got a cheap compression tester and i hope its a POS or i didnt use it right cause that shit was way low, but if its not running by monday AAA will tow it to honda and my $ will start to dwindle

i wonder if the timing belt jumped a tooth or two.

crazy stuff guys, called the tow truck, when he got there i went to move the car down the drive way so i thought screw it i'll try to start it...AND IT STARTED!!!! it sound BAD when it started, backed it down the driveway and then sounded fine, asked the tow driver to fallow me to the honda place and it drove fine once outa the neighborhood, got to honda and turned it off and started it 2 more times and it was FINE. Still left it at honda to get them to take a good look at it, this car is crazy
