oil filter of choice?

It will fit all B and D motors.

Having a couple extra psi does nothing really. Just a little extra insurance that things are pumping through the system good. Raising the psi a couple points over stock using various methods is a common practice.

There's so much debate on this one. Hasn't Honda actually consolidated all their filters into one part # now???......the S2000 filter. I've heard that now the Civic filters are the same ones as the S2K.

I know someone has the answer to that. I'm too lazy to look now.

Looks like they are. Went and got a Fram filter and the part number listed is the same as S2K and other Civic's.

LOL...I've been using Fram since I was 16 years old. I've never had problem with them on any of my cars. How much do the OEM Honda ones cost?

well. instead of getting $10 cash back when i bought a few oem parts, they gave me 5 filters. so, not that expensive haha.

I've used Fram and Honda, I don't really notice a difference, my car drives the same.

Mine cost $6.87 plus tax from my Dallas dealership. 30 cents if you want a new washer for drain plug, too.

Did a change about 50 miles ago (yesterday).
