Cool  New Head Unit

I finally got a new head unit (Pioneer DEH-P7000BT) and I absolutely love it! I've waited months for this unit to come out and it was well worth the wait. If anyone else has one and can offer pointers on which external hard drive works best with this unit it would be greatly appreciated. Woot
Now that I have this unit my Delphi Roady2 XM Satellite Radio will be in the Classified section soon once I uninstall the antenna. ($25+ Shipping to your zip)

A couple of pics (Sorry they are dark) night pics are to come later this evening.

Looks good Pat. It would be nice to get a new head unit, because the stock one sucks, or should I say the stock speakers suck.

RE: New Head Unit

Thanks guys!
I was contemplating on this, Apexi WS2 exhaust or Function7 LCA's.

The head unit has XM and Sirrius tuners built in I just need to transfer my XM service to the new head unit. I eventually will switch to Sirrius I think they are better even though they are essentially the same company.

The stock head unit will do but a aftermarket head unit has many more options and possibilities twhen it comes to audio sources and BlueTooth features, and looks better too.
I'll keep everyone posted

off the subject a little, but the stock speakers are really good I have found! But only with my latest stereo have I found them superb! I have a Pioneer DEH-P880PRS!

RE: New Head Unit

I didn't want to start a new thread so I thought I would ask the question here since it pertains to my new deck.

Can someone bring me up to speed on iPod technology, specifically the differences in generations. The reason I ask is that I currently have a 1GB Flash Drive which I use to play music and want to upgrade to something that is a little more user friendly when it comes down to uploading/downloading music on to my deck. I am currently looking on Craigslist at 2GB Nano's to 80GB iPod Classics . Anybody have any suggestions or advise that they can share?
