need some answers!

i drive a gsr and my exhaust smokes white..not a lot but enough for me to notice it, and it smells like gas all the time esp out the exhaust so whats my problem? should i buy a fuel pressure regulator to control the fuel psi? and i checked my coolant it stays at the same level so i dont think im burning it...maybe i have blown piston rings? Car runs rich as hellll

RE: need some answers!

Blowing white smoke usually means coolant. If your levels are not dropping, who knows. Usually if it's oil burning, it's bluish smoke. Both white & blue smoke stink.

Do a compression test and/or a leak down test to find out if it's your piston rings, valves/valve seals, head gasket, etc.

So what makes you think your car is running rich? I assume your car has the stock injectors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, etc????

fuel gauges dont read Rich they read in psi, if you talking a bout a air/fuel gauge than it will read wrong hooked up to a civic o2 sensor you need a wide band!
