RE: N/A Quarter Mile Times and Dyno Charts

Update:

Went out again tonight. Getting things a little more dialed in even though I'm still running a check engine light and have a bad axle or two that's causing massive front end shake and making me let off a tad every run.

Well here's a new best for me (at least since we have been doing this) with my new practically stock LS motor.

Getting even better.

Went out again tonight. Ran consistent 15.5s all night with little problems here and there. I know I can still get her down. A new best time (for what I'm dedicating to this thread) for me.

Here ya go....

Well went again tonight and got just a tad better. Keep on picking up tenths. Consistent 15.3s and 15.4s all night. Getting closer to maxing this motor out. Just dialing her in. Need different tire for sure.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't think I can get any better without some changes. The standard b18b is about maxed out I think. I searched on H-T and most b18b powered 96-00 coupes on street tires were anywhere between 15.1-16.2ish. Somehow I got 14.9 w/ a 2.0 60' right when this setup went in. That was with different tires. I think that's might be my next purchase.....some BFG drag radials. I don't want to mod the b18b anymore simply cause there's bigger and better things coming.

Time for some serious change though I think.

Are you still running with the TPS unplugged?

Yup....CEL and all. I can't even run the damn car when it's plugged in!!! Like one minute from plugging it in, she will start sputtering and bucking.

RE: N/A Quarter Mile Times and Dyno Charts

Well went to the track again today for the first Sunday of the month (every month) "Funday Sunday"

I sucked. The damn temps are so freakin' hot you can't even see straight. It's probably about 87-90 with absolutely no wind or clouds and as humid as it can get. The track was slippery and everybody was running bad cause of the temps.

I RAN 17 times between 10 and 3 o'clock!!!! That's a new record for me. If I were a bracket racer, I'd win everything I entered. 17 runs.....ALL within 4 hundredths of a second. 15.57-15.61 and 2.3 60's the whole day. Couldn't break into 2.2 or 2.1 all day. Reaction times were great!!! .030s to .040s every run.
