yeah....so I'm pretty pissed. I was coming back after work at 5pm down Alta Vista right by a local coffee shop. Its a single lane road in a residential area near some government buildings and such, anyways while i was driving 40-50KM/H a tree branch the length of my arm came and crashed on my windsheild and distroyed it. There were no cars in front or behind me but at first i thought i hit someone because i was changing tracks and wasn't really looking at the road (i know i know). i pulled over and took some pics. i went to find the branch but it was run over by a city bus and other cars and it broke apart. Anyways I'm very very very happy that it didnt hit my hood or my roof and I'm happy that it wasnt big enough to pierce through the glass because it couldve been a lot worse.

I have a claim open with the city now and the claims adjuster is coming down on monday to do an estimate and junk. They came down yesterday to first verify if it is a city tree then they will do the estimate and get in contact with me.

Damn man, that must have scared the hell out of you, I'm pretty sure I would have been all over the road if that happened to me.

Sue the tree for traumatic and emotional damages, ask for no less than 5,000,000.

yah seriously! i got quotes already ranging 250-300 installed as early as monday

man i was scared shitless lol. one of the guys getting out of his garage seen me pull over and was like damn howd that happen? i was like your tree branch fell on my windsheild. he then said it isnt my tree call the city and goodluck and left.
