I just recently bought a 2000 EJ8.
I'll give you the specs that I bought it with...
Stock D16Y8 Engine with 67,000mi on it
After market skirt kit,Rims,Tint.
Along with a few other things..

And heres what I WANT to do to it.
-CatBack Exhaust(Greddy or HKS)
-DC Headers
-AEM Short Ram Intake
-Re-Chipping

I plan to keep it pretty simple,I don't want anything crazy or major illegal.

NO ENGINE DROPS.

So if you guys can think of anything else I could do thats simple and will help me out just let me know.

as for chipping it, if your running your stock ECU you wont be able to tune unless you get the OBD1 conversion... then you can just "tune" it with chrome pro or something like that... i would be very very against "chipping" your car. but you will see results with tuning it... plus you can run 2 step launch programs and what not. plus chrome is free

I agree with TayloMade. Don't waste your hard earned money by chipping. Your plans do not require a chipped ecu. If you slapped in a cam in there then that would require a chipped ecu.

Oh yeah one more thing.

You mean lower it?

If so that was a thought for me but I think I am going to do some other things first.
