Muffler questions
hey guys i was thinking of getting a muffler for my 98 honda civic ex or SI if you live in Canada, but i have a couple of questions that i need help answering with. I was thinking of getting the Spoon sports n1. The ones that are on sale on Ebay is made for ek9 or the Em1. so i was wondering if it would be possible to fit the muffler into the Ej8 without any modification. Also on other sites that i saw 2 versions of the product, one was the street version and one was just the N1 itself i believe, so my question is what are the difference? and there was one that was made for the B pipe and i was wondering what that meant. Also one last question is, if i was to upgrade my exhaust system, beside changing the header what else do i need? i know this is alot of questions, and i appreciate your guys every input.

RE: Muffler questions
honestly IMO..the N1 is ANNOYINGLY loud...i wouldn't get it...i have a friend that has it and it's really annoying...the ek9 i believe is a lot shorter than the ej8 versions so you'd have to modify it by getting longer pipes...the B pipe i believe are for b series motors...also in my experience of changing the exhaust system...all i needed was the header and the full cat back exhaust...i have the dc sports/greddy set up...meaning i have a dc sport 4-2-1 header connected to a greddy full cat back evo2 exhaust..make sure u up grade your intake aswell just get the most out of ur set up...feel free to correct me if i'm wrong fellas...
tell your V8 my turbo says pshhh

RE: Muffler questions
I would go with either the Apexi WS
or the Greddy SP2
All depends on the sound you are going for
But also if you are either going to go n/a or turbo makes a big difference also
Theres a lot of variables but I'm pretty sure the spoon exhaust is only for the hb so you would need to have it lengthened
