itr build..... new to the forum

story starts out as this was my wife's car. the very first day we hooked up she over rev'd the car at the track and destroyed the valve train. the best pass of the night was 14.1@97.41mph. thats with full interior, ac,ps, and a sub in the trunk driven by her! the car ended up sitting at the track for that night and when we returned the next morning to pick it up it was sitting on the floor with no wheels and a broken window. for a while as she got fed up with it and thats where i come in Smile

the car sat at her moms garage for a good 7 months b4 i even touched it.

i replaced the entire valvetrain with omni power goodies and a set of s2s2 cams.

after the start up i took her for a spin and then noticed that the tranny was REALLY stiff so i then pulled the tranny out and realized that the pressure plate was in very bad shape from the over rev so i stocked up on a ACT 4puck unsprung clutch kit. i was hopeing to get by on the stock injectors but they are running at 80% right now and i have a half ass tune on the car. its benn running like that for a few months now due to lack of funds but ive recently picked up some rc 310 injector and im headed back for my goal of the 200whp tune. after this i plan on adding a hint of nitrous but nothing to serious then plan on cleaning the car up.

Your wife sounds awesome, haha...bummer about how the car got mobbed on overnight though...I honestly don't know how people have the heart to keep going after something like that happens.

Anyways, it looks like you're getting her (the car) back the right track, looking great so far!

Welcome to the squad!

thanks for the support.... ive been lurking for a bit now. i come from the old school world of EF's. been through them amm 4door crx hatch and a wagon.
as for my wife... yea she is awsome.

as far as the car goes it runs pretty good.... vtec is set to hit at 6k but the car is tuned to 7k..... .cant wait to see what 9.5k rpm sounds like.
she pulls pretty strong even with the half ass tune.... i had skunkdsir in the car with me the other night and had a lil bs run with a new gti and i left the car in 5th and puched it and pretty much stood side by side b4 vtec kicked in..... but the 7k came and i had to stop the fun Sad

Welcome to the site bro. Nice build. No doubt you should get to 200. Don't know if I'd trust the Omni stuff. Have heard great and have heard VERY bad. Hope the good is on your side. Nice car. Enjoy your stay. Glad you came out of lurking and finally joined this wonderful place.
