ive seen em on many hondas and was wondering why do they do that ? does it help any? lol

Ahh the crankcase vent thing going on? Pointless I'd assume, I don't see many people boasting about it.

Completely useless. It's not like it's expensive so do it if you want or whatever.

Now on to the real stuff. It's a vent of course. People do this because they don't want the oily sludge and blowby gazes venting out of there then entering your intake and getting things all dirty. The downside to this is that if you're boosted or extremely hight revving, you may spurt out oil through this hole due to the pressure built up in there. This is why people buy remote crankcase vents and oil catch cans. Oh.....another thing.... it will not clear emissions.
