RE: HDR battle..

I think a Mazda photo is nice, and a house photo is ok ... Technically i think they both are better than Btuner's. He is going in a direction I don't like. In my opinion people are too often using HDR when it is not needed creating something strange instead of just taking a good picture. But maybe i'm just old fashioned Wink

RE: HDR battle..

Yours. On his the car has multiple shades of gray which I don't like and his pics are too dark in general. "Cartoonish" is what I thought right away. Not bad and I give props for what he did.

Yours are more clear and crisp, but like Cardr I'm not a fan of HDR.

RE: HDR battle..

honestly...idk how HDR pictures are made so i dont really have a basis of comparing techniques
but I like almost everyone of your pics...his do look too dark but IMO i like both but the one of ur house looks better than his but i could just be the camera used.

I'm kinda diggin the cartoony vibe from his shots though- kinda looks like a video game lol. Yours are more crisp and turn out better for sure.

true they are a bit cartoony but maybe that's his style..you both have different styles and for that i can't say one is better than the other...so to me i guess it comes down to preference..and it's a toss up to me Gotme

I can see where your coming from buddy, completely understandable.

The only reason I posted this, I did a shoot of my buddy's hatchback and posted it on TR. Well I'm pretty sure everyone on here know's I'm trying to get this HDR stuff down. When you wanna get better at it, you do it a lot, correct?

Well Btuner and DareDevil where all about me stopping HDR shots cuz they don't look right and so on.. then this gets posted from him.. I was confused because they had the "Say NO to HDR crew" thing going on Gotme
