Uh I don't think it would kill you I was shocked by a power supply on a lcd screen before it just shocked my finger It made a small burn mark not a big deal.

Just look for a parts computer on ebay. I bought this same model computer on ebay it was practically new for 350. came with everything and had nothing wrong with it.
