RE: GTA

I can't stand the F-bomb. I'm sure this game will have more than I can handle. The game does look gorgeous though.

I can absolutely understand that, and I have to admit I'm sure the game will have its fair share of foul language (although it probably won't be anything compared to the 8 year old kits dominating the headsets on Halo, haha...I've never even heard grown men talk like that).

At least you still have Forza 2 and Call of Duty 4 Wink.

orly Game flaws and errors are repairable via Xbox Live updates, you have no excuse not to pick the game up on Tuesday!

...Unless you're broke, or have a PS3...how do updates work on the Playstation Network anyways? Is it similar to Live?

One thing I'm excited of about GTAIV is that there will be constant new missions and such added to create an ever expanding gameplay experience

If I see another n00b on this site with "EJ8" in their name, I'm gonna freak out. Originality FTW!

RE: GTA

Everyone at the local Gamestop stood in line for like...2 hours in the cold to get the game, talk about dedication! I said forget that, I got my receipt and took a nap in my car with the heater on haha. Woke up at around 11:50 and just waited about 15 mins.

Finally got it this morning! It's the biggest news all over other the radio, it's supposed to reach an estimated revenue of over 1 billion dollars, which is the highest any single source of entertainment has ever brought in (like games, movies, etc.) Also, recent polls/studies have shown that 40% of gamers that purchased the game last night have called in sick today to stay home and play it.

I'm relaying information I heard on the radio, I have no sources to back these facts up but I think they're easily conceivable to be true.

What made me upset was when I tried to buy the guide at the checkout counter...I was like sweet, I can get $5 off with the purchase of the game, she's like nope, you bought the game last year on reserve you have to buy it now to get the discount on the guide...

I looked at her like..."Are you serious? How can I buy a guide for a game that doesn't exist?" Whatever, just didn't take lunch today and it all evened out haha.

Good gaming guys, I played a couple hours last night and was blown away.
