RE: function form type 1 fullcoil adjusting question

Function & Form coilovers can be adjusted in two ways. You can adjust the actual body of the coil up as the whole shock body is threaded or you can move the lower of the two adjusting "rings" down however far you want to move it, then move the upper "ring" down onto the lower one and tighten it by moving each "ring" in opposite directions until they're tight. PM me if you have any other questions on this as I have Funtion&Form Type 2 coilovers and they're very similar.

yes, in order to adjust the body of the coilover you need to take it off the control arm, if it's the front you can just loosen the bolt and move it that way. I'd suggest getting your car at a height your comfortable with (driving in winter if your in a snow area) and then adjust the coils with the spring adjustment points from there.

RE: function form type 1 fullcoil adjusting question

this is what the guy said from the store! "you can adjust them installed in the car.. excellent product and service".. "the complete unit spins in and out of the lower collar by using the supplied "keys" while its fully installed...
