RE: DIY Magnetic Numbers and Letters

Yup...DIY is the only way to go. I've made two sets total...except I purchased my 24x12in mag roll fom a craft store. The first set I used I wanted black letters and the mag roll was white...so I applied black vinyl to them and it worked ok until we had an event in the rain...and they just didn't look right anymore. So then I made another set...but spray painted them black...they look much better now.

What kind of spray paint is needed to make sure it sticks to such a smooth surface like this?

RE: DIY Magnetic Numbers and Letters

I just used some generic indoor outdoor flat black paint from Walmart. I scuffed them up a bit using sandpaper...then gave them a few coats. Voila.
