RE: Considering trading in the EJ8 for an FA5

My girl keeps wanting me to get a new car as well. She loves my coupe just like me but she wants something newer and bigger for "family" future stuff ya know. Trying to save for a house is bad enough.....then add a brand new car payment to the mix....ummmm no thank you. LoL I'll keep my Civic 'til the day I give up on it so much that I end up shooting the thing with anything my boy (avid high caliber weapons collector) can get his hands on. Then I'll push it off a bridge somewhere. LoL To me, that's a proper way to go out after a long, tough fight for greatness......kinda Last Samurai or Braveheart in a way. LoL

Long story short....You're making the right choice. (as far as us avid car guys go) hahaha

Brad, the coupe is a family car. I've been hauling around my family since I got it (4yr old and a 16yr old). When we finally paid of the Civic is was huge burden lifted off our shoulders. More money to spoil the kids with.

I know I know Jeremy. I say it's a decent family car for a young couple and their kid(s). My girl is cool though. She wants an SUV and not a Minivan like most female family members. ha ha ha

My wife wants a SUV too. I told her she can Trade her Colbalt SS in for it. My Civic is my treasure. I'll drive it until it cost me $100 to fill the tank. Then I'll get antique plates and just drive it on the weekends. It's not going no where. LOL Mugen SI = A Small Element in my Book. Took the teeth and Nads out of it with the z3. You want new and Bad ass get an EVO X or STi and call it a day. Hey they are both "family" cars IMO. LOL

I was going to get an EVO X with the flappy paddle gear box, but $500 monthly payments for like 72 months wasn't an option.

I'll just supercharge it and go from dominating the NA dyno charts to the FI dyno charts Big Grin
