RE: Battery in trunk

What is the purpose of 100AMP Circuit Breaker and Distribution Block? What would happen if it’s not used? Thanks

Old topic, but... The fuse is just in case the battery wire comes loose somewhere and hits the chassis, so it won't make fire/smoke/burnt wire.

Distribution block goes under-hood to connect to underhood fuses and starter/alternator wires.

RE: Battery in trunk

I also bought a kit for 50 it came with everything 2Ga power and ground wire. I took out the back seat and passenger seat when I did mine I also added some dynomat while I had all that stuff out. I used a yellow top battery so no fumes. If you don't buy the kit I know pep boys sells battery trays. Also anywhere the wire came close to metal I wrapped the wire with plastic cover. Good luck with this
