B16 TB onto D16Y8

Is this just a simple bolt-on, or do I have to worry about the OBD crap? I do understand that I would need to port match my IM to benefit from the larger TB.

It helps wit the response a little. If you are running the Stock IM then yes get it port matched or there will be air flow loss and you won't gain anything.

Should bolt up just fine as for the OBD part it all depends on the TB. My jdm b16a doesnt have a spot for the map sensor so I had to run a vacuum line from the map to the TB. The TPS should have the same plug from OBDI to OBDII. I believe the OBD0 has a different plug. any ways good luck.

All Honda TB's have the same bolt patter, just gotta get the right gasket to go with it Thumbup Forgot to add that in on my last post

my b18c throttle body on my d16 worked great just port flow and get the right gaskets.
