hey guys! i want to get a dslr! but i have no clue what to buy? im pretty good with taking pics and stuff. ive heard that nikons got more lense options. im like a total newb wen it comes to lenses and the numbers and all the other cool stuff. so i was just wondering what you guys would recomend for me to start with?

U might wanna ask shunkdSIR or whiteknight those guys are always taking pictures

You need to do some research
On what you want from a camera
And what your budget is.
No use in buying a 700 dollar DSLR
if you will only use the base functions you could get off of a 500 dollar one.
Megapixels do not equal a better camera
Just like lbs dont equal power when turbo

Im also very interested in this question.
I was totally gonna pick up like a Canon XTI or a Nikon d40 since i would be a total noobie,
but i recently got pulled over, spending shitty amount just paying off fines.
I also got a brand new catback apexi ws2 which is sitting in my kitchen, which i might sell =[
