I admit it I watch American Idol. Say what you want about it, but I enjoy watching it and even vote once in awhile.

Anyone else on here watch it?

I watch it sometimes when it's narrowed to the top twelve or so. I have a couple friends who are AMAZING singers try out last year and they didn't even get past the first round of judges. You have to get past two other sets of judges to even get a chance to sing in front of Randy, Paula, and Simon. Just a little trivia for ya.

i only watch it when its the really crappy, weird people from all around the country. then its a comedy!

i only watch the beginning try-outs, thats the best part of it, no point in watching the rest unless there is nothing on or im really bored

I like the funny tryouts more myself but I can appreciate a good singer so you can catch me watchin' it later in the show as well.....not as much as the tryouts though. LoL

Thanks for the info. Tammi and I were always curious as to how many times you have to sing until you get to Randy, Paula and Simon.

I know people that went to the tryouts in MN when they did 'em there and people went through two sets of judging before getting to the main three. Sometimes (just like in the broad casted shows) they even cycle you through again....so sometimes maybe more then twice...or two sets. Of course they add a few just for ratings, drama, humor. LoL

yeah i heard some people tryout and act really dumb i guess but once they are in with randy and all the rest they actually try to sing and not be funny/dumb

I will admit that I watch it too. I have never voted though.
