2 layer head gasket

Is there any benefits in using a 2 layer head gasket in a Y8 it would yield a 9.8:1 CR versus stock 9.6:1? What are the disadvantages in using one if any?

I think .2 won't make much of a difference you're better off taking the head off and port and pollish and maybe milling the head slightly . you need to be careful though you don't want to start bending valves with too radical of a mill job

It will bump the compression up a little bit.
